BEST EVER HASHBROWN CASSEROLE


So easy, yet so delicious. I always make this recipe at Thanksgiving but it's just so good I end up making it a lot more than just then!

2 lb. frozen hashbrowns
1/2 c. melted butter
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 can cream of chicken soup (or cream of celery for your vegetarian friends)
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 c. sour cream
2 c. cornflakes


Mix everything but cornflakes and butter. Put in bowl. In saucepan melt butter and add cornflakes. Sprinkle on top. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
